Cammell Laird and Atlantic and Peninsula marine services group HSEQ director wins ROSPA distinguished service award.

Cammell Laird and Atlantic and Peninsula Marine Services Group’s HSEQ Director, Kevin Peart, has won a Distinguished Service Award from RoSPA in recognition of his long term and sustained contribution to improving health and safety.

Kevin joined A&P Group, which includes A&P Australia, in 2015 and was promoted to A&P Group HSEQ Director three years later. During this time, Kevin has significantly improved A&P’s health and safety credentials.

Kevin’s achievements have included:

  • Helping to reduce A&P’s accident/incident frequency rate by more than 400%;
  • Securing a RoSPA Gold Award for A&P Group in 2019;
  • Helping to secure the RoSPA Commended in the Engineering Services Sector in 2020;
  • Achieving ISO 9001:2015 and 14001:2015 with no non-conformances raised;
  • Securing Fit for Nuclear status at A&P Falmouth; and
  • Implementation of the behavioural safety programme Work Safe, Home Safe.

Kevin holds a distinguished track record in the RoSPA Awards, having won in both the Facilities Management, Healthcare and Defence sectors. Kevin has also recently been appointed as Group HSEQ Director for Cammell Laird and Atlantic and Peninsular Marine Services, which means Kevin is now responsible for managing HSEQ across Cammell Laird in addition to A&P Group, FDEC and Atlantic and Peninsula Australia. Kevin will work to ensure that successful HSEQ initiatives are managed and replicated across both businesses to ensure consistent delivery and continuous improvement.
