Our History 

Atlantic & Peninsula Australia is part of the A&P Group, which operates the largest commercial ship repair, conversion and marine services facility in the UK.

Operating seven dry docks across three strategic locations in the UK, A&P Group has a proud history of quality driven engineering excellence spanning six decades.  Renowned for its highly skilled workforce, first class waterfront engineering infrastructure and being a partner of choice for customers, A&P Group delivers contracts for the marine, defence, offshore and energy industries.

Contracts include the UKCCATS Customisation Trials and In-Service Support for four new Tide Class tankers a global In-Service Support contract with the UK Ministry of Defence for four frontline Royal Fleet Auxiliary vessels. A&P Group has also demonstrated its extensive engineering expertise on the Astute Submarine Class and the prestigious HMS Queen Elizabeth and HMS Prince of Wales air craft carriers.

A&P’s facilities combine a rich heritage of marine engineering skills and experience, providing ship owners and energy companies with the project management and precision skills and quality required to complete the most demanding projects.
